The included Destinator 7 mapping software has no new maps or hacks the promised map update was apparently never released. Included maps were privy to the lower 48 states only. One of the first things I noticed was that there were no maps for Alaska. Under settings there is a setting for Bicycle or Pedestrian that calculates routes avoiding major highways and freeways. The Omnitech 16878-US comes with a suction cup mount, so I hacked it (well, not really) and mounted the unmodified mount directly to the bicycle using zip ties. The Omnitech has been discontinued as far as I know, so the used market may be the best place to find one of these or something similar.
